This music has more substance than all of hip-hop in the last ten years. I hope these cats don't get discouraged. These are definitly voices young people should hear. Back in the days we had Lauren Hill and Public Enemy to speak the truth but now there are no voices like that. Platinum Souls has an opportunity to do something no one else is doing: use music to inspire young people to seek God and make Him real in their lives. What better way of doing that than hip-hop, the background music to every young voice in America. Considering all of the things that everyone of us has to face everyday, both rich and poor, urban and rural, young and old, we are all looking for encouragement and that inspiration that we are constantly looking for to give meaning and purpose to our lives can only come through God.
