Living in a market driven capitalistic society is challenging. The need for products is created by consistent exposure to images of people who seem to have it all. No one can actually live up to that ideal we spend time chasing dreams & money buying products that we are led to believe will make us "better" somehow. If we could all just be accepting of ourselves as we are we'd probably all be much happier. But who am I to talk? I'm a 42yo Rabbi with 6 kids whoo's trying to be a rock star!
