Electronica legends Daft Punk continued their unique marketing approach this weekend by teasing yet another new song in the commercials during Saturday Night Live.

Marking at least the third time such an event has happened in the last two months, the latest commercial from Daft Punk teases a collaborative track with music superstar Pharrell. The song, titled “Get Lucky,” has a high-gloss 70′s funk feel, and the visual match with a flat black background and overly shiny outfits. You can view the clip below.

Of all the new music to be teased by Daft Punk thus far, “Get Lucky” is without a doubt the most intriguing to surface as of yet. The hook is instantly catchy, the music makes you want to dance, and it seems safe to assume a full video already exists. The only question is, when will it be released in full? Pop superstar Justin Timberlake to the promotional efforts for his upcoming album The 20/20 Experience to the stage of Saturday Night Live over the weekend and this morning we have the performances streaming right here on OurStage!

Filling in as both host and musical guest, Timberlake performed “Suit & Tie” and new song “Mirrors” on the historical New York soundstage. Both renditions went off without a hitch, and if you ask us Timberlake once again proved why he’s the best in the business. You can view his performances below. Between the recent success of Mumford and Sons, Of Monsters and Men, and now Denver-based act, The Lumineers, folk music has been making some pretty big waves lately. And with reason – after all, there’s something undeniably catchy and perhaps even endearing about tracks like The Lumineers’ “Ho Hey.”

Performing last weekend on the Saturday Night Live stage at NBC’s famed studio 8H, The Lumineers performed “Ho Hey,” along with a new track called, “Stubborn Love.” As catchy as their previous hit (dare we say more so?), it’s just a matter of time before you’ll hear “Stubborn Love” circulating radio stations across the nation. From all we’ve seen and heard of fun., their live performances kill it. When it was announced they’d be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live for Nov. 3, we couldn’t wait. Their song choices? You guessed it: Radio success “Some Nights,” along with the newly released music video track, “Carry On.”

Although fun. kept the energy high with both performances, vocals on “Some Nights,” fell flat in sections and those used to chanting along with the recorded sound might be in for a bit of a shock. “Carry On” faired much better, with strong vocals and stellar performances by the entire band, ending their SNL debut on a high note.

Last Friday was a perfect summer night and thus the best evening atmosphere anyone could imagine for a concert. The Bank of America Pavilion was packed with people of all ages who were treated to a night of great music while watching the sun go down over the water. It was the end of the first week of the Guster and Jack’s Mannequin co-headlining tour and this show was certainly full of special moments and surprises.

Ra Ra Riot kicked off the show as concertgoers were filing into the venue, many intrigued and entertained by the opening act. An indie pop band hailing from New York, the group set the tone for the rest of the show, putting everyone in a good mood with their laid-back but fun music. One of the highlights of their set was their performance of “Too Dramatic”, which showed off the band’s use of violin and cello in their songs.

By the time Jack’s Mannequin took the stage, the crowd was full and on their feet in anticipation. Exactly a year after front man Andrew McMahon was in town playing a Something Corporate reunion show, he was back with his current band, on the verge of releasing their third album. They started off by getting everyone dancing and singing along to their biggest hit to date, “The Mixed Tape”. The band treated the crowd to three new songs from their upcoming album People & Things, including one called “Amelia Jean” which they had never played before. Their performance of “Bruised” kept the crowd going halfway through the set and emphasized the great dynamic between Andrew and the backup vocals of guitar player Bobby Anderson who provides beautiful harmonies. Ending the set after getting to play for over an hour, they chose to play their catchy sing-a-long tune, “La La Lie”. McMahon showed off his harmonica playing skills to the delight of the audience, and jumped off of his piano onto the stage like a rock star.

Miley Cyrus joined a long list of musical hosts on SNL this Saturday, making fun of everyone from Lindsay Lohan to Justin Bieber and even poking some fun at herself. We were pleasantly surprised by the tween pop star’s appearance (as were the critics!), and it got us thinking about some of our favorite musical hosts. From Madonna and Gaga’s catfight to Justin Timberlake’s excellent gift ideas, here are four of SNL‘s greatest musical moments.

Willie Nelson Waxes Poetic on the Plight of the Redneck

If you aren’t already a fan of Willie Nelson’s poetic country tunes, you’re bound to become one after watching his 1987 sketch “Redneck Tanning Parlor”. As the sagacious tanning expert Mr. Galloway, Willie pokes fun at himself by offering his thoughts on the struggles facing modern-day hicks. “You see, we live in a time of great change, and the life of the cracker, redneck peckerwood may soon disappear,” he affirms. “But there’s one thing that won’t change, if I have anything to say about it, and that’s a bright, red neck and bright, red arms.” So wise, Willie. So wise.

Paul Simon Dresses Like a Turkey

…Do we even need to explain this one? It’s Paul Simon. Being his usual melancholy self. While dressed as a turkey. Simon’s entire opening monologue is comedy gold, but we really lose it every time we watch him storm off and berate producer Lorne Michaels (“Would you like to sing in a turkey outfit?!”) while waving his big ol’ turkey arms around. How he manages to keep a straight face through the entire sketch is beyond us.

Justin Timberlake Gives Us The Best Halloween Costume Idea Ever

Timberlake’s multiple stints on SNL have led to unforgettable gems like the single ladies dance and “Motherlover,” but our obvious favorite is 2006’s “Dick in a Box.” An indictment of overly-sensual early ’90s R&B slow jams, “Dick” features JT and Andy Sandberg giving men what is quite possibly the best gift idea of all time. With its awesomely ridiculous lyrics (Over at your parent’s house / a dick in a box / Midday at the grocery store / a dick in a box), the track helped skyrocket The Lonely Island to success and even earned the duo a Creative Arts Emmy. Seriously. We couldn’t make this stuff up if we tried.

Lady Gaga Takes on Madonna

Okay, okay. So Gaga wasn’t technically hosting SNL when she and Madonna had their famous catfight. But honestly, the Mother Monster might be a better actor than host Ryan Reynolds anyway. We loved watching Gags confront the Madonna comparisons head on, but have to side with the eighties superstar: “What the hell is a disco stick?!”
