STRIVE Sets The Net Aflame With New Release ‘FIRE’

Five time top ten artist Strive is making waves on the indie music scene. From MTV to Paste Magazine to AOL Music – over 450 media outlets have picked up what these power pop rockers are puttin down. The band has found international acclaim in over 55 countries including Russia, Uganda, New Zealand and Brazil (where singer Derick Thompson met his wife). While most of the songs on the album are inspired by the loves in his life, Fire (the title track) speaks candidly about the shared physical intimacy between husband and wife and is probably the most controversial piece of the set. See why Derick stands behind his choices with this song on his OurStage profile.

For a band that’s heavily supported by the Christian music community – do you think the topic of enjoyed physical intimacy is appropriate? Let me know by commenting here!
