Tegan And Sara Perform “I Was A Fool” On Television

Canadian songstresses Tegan And Sara have posted a previously televised performance of “I Was A Fool” online for fans around the world to enjoy.

Appearing on the popular morning show, Sunday Brunch, the duo of Tegan And Sara brought along acoustic guitars and a keyboard for a stunning rendition of their hit “I Was A Fool.” You can view the performance at the end of this post.

There are those who will tell you no version of a single is better than the one that makes the album, but after hearing “I Was A Fool” I have to disagree. Tegan and Sara are best experienced however you can find them. All they (and I) ask is that you take the time to listen. Continue reading ‘Tegan And Sara Perform “I Was A Fool” On Television’

Ciara Debuts “Turnt Up”

After a long weekend that found hr being served with legal papers mid-performance, Ciara hopes to put the focus back on her new music with the release of “Turnt Up.”

Premiering originally on Power106, the latest from Ciara attempts to capture the energy of club life and transform it into a 5-Minute+ track. The results are a little mixed, with a hard hitting hook that’s surrounded by less than exciting verses, but when the end finally rolls around I’m willing to wager you will have a smile on your face. You can stream “Turnt Up” below.

Ciara has a new album coming out later this year. Comment below and let us know your thoughts on “Turnt Up.” Continue reading ‘Ciara Debuts “Turnt Up”’

Simon Cowell Gets Egged During ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Finale

Gossip sites exploded over the weekend with rumors Simon Cowell, commonly known as the angry judge on American Idol, was pelted with eggs during the finale taping of Britain’s Got Talent. Turns out, the rumors were true. Even better? We have video to prove it.

No matter how much or little reality singing competitions you expose yourself to, it’s hard to imagine anyone these days who does not know Simon Cowell. His signature scowl and impersonation ready attitude has been parodied into the ground over the year, but I don’t think anyone could have guess the real Cowell would one day be on the receiving end of a harmless attack. You can view a video of the egging incident at the end of this post. Continue reading ‘Simon Cowell Gets Egged During ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Finale’

Iggy Azalea Releases Video For “Bounce” (DJ Green Lantern Remix)

Up and coming hip hop artist Iggy Azalea has released an out of this world video for her DJ Green Lantern’s remix of her latest single, “Bounce.”

Most remixes come and go without doing much to the original song other than adding and/or subtracting verses. The DJ Green Lantern reinterpretation of “Bounce” is much different, offering people a completely intoxicating new sonic vision of an already powerful track. The video is equally alluring, with Azalea performing and exploring the streets of Indie, which seems to have at least somewhat influenced the instrumentation of the track. You can view the video below. Continue reading ‘Iggy Azalea Releases Video For “Bounce” (DJ Green Lantern Remix)’

Sleeping With Sirens Release “Alone” Video

Rise Records’ Sleeping With Sirens have released the official music video for their latest single, “Alone.”

Taken from Feel, which hit stores earlier this week, “Alone” pairs the Michigan-bred rock act with Cleveland, Ohio native Machine Gun Kelly for a crossover offering that keeps the energy and emotion high. The lyrics focus early on ensuring the one you love that you will always be there, but once MGK hops on the mic the tables are turned, which truthfully saves the song from being written off as another overly dramatic alt-rock jam. You can view the video at the end of this post.

Feel is expected to sell upwards of 60,000 copies this week. If that happens it will be the fastest selling Rise Records release of all time. Comment below and let us know if you get what all the hype is about. Continue reading ‘Sleeping With Sirens Release “Alone” Video’

Crown The Empire Release “Menace” Live Video

Rise Records signees Crown The Empire have released a quasi-music video for their latest single, “Menace.”

Pieced together from a variety of live and behind-the-scenes footage, the video for “Menace” should serve its purpose of selling tickets for the CTE live show quite well. Having witnessed the band’s show twice in recent months, I don’t think any clip, even one as well put together as this, can truly capture the power of CTE’s stage presence. You can view the video below.

“Menace” comes from Crown The Empire’s debut album, The Fallout, which is available now. Continue reading ‘Crown The Empire Release “Menace” Live Video’
