P!nk Announces Surprising Support For Upcoming Tour

P!nk is known for having badass pop chicks (or chick-fronted bands) open for her, like VV Brown, Nikka Costa, and The Ting Tings. Today, she surprised us all by announcing that the bands supporting her on her upcoming The Truth About Love Tour would be acoustic/folk solo artist City and Colour and Swedish garage rockers The Hives. While we’re still scratching our heads at the choices, we have to admit that P!nk has some pretty great taste in music.

Known for her stellar live vocals and acrobatic stage antics, P!nk is one of the most impressive performers out there. Make sure you check out The Truth About Love Tour when it comes to your hometown! Find your local tour date here.

Justin Bieber, Rihanna , Bruno Mars Perform On Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

Victoria’s Secret kicked off their annual holiday fashion show this past Wednesday, Nov. 7, to a crowd of dedicated New Yorkers, braving the elements to catch a peak at the latest fashions and musical performances by Rihanna, Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber.

Enjoying himself probably a little too much, Bieber soaked in the eye candy, while singing a stripped down version of “Beauty and the Beat” along with “As Long As You Love Me.” Rihanna shared her latest, “Diamonds” along with “Fresh Out the Runway,” while Bruno Mars performed “Locked Out of Heaven” and “Young Girls.”

Though Bieber initially seemed an odd choice for the event, he was quoted as saying,“It’s like a dream come true. I would rather be here than anywhere in the world.”

We can tell, Bieber. We can tell.

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show airs Dec. 4 on CBS.

Check Out The Smoky Visuals For Lana Del Rey’s “Bel Air”

Lana Del Rey has been a busy woman since she rose to prominence last year on the strength of a handful of viral videos. She hasn’t let up her onslaught since, regularly pumping out releases that are less songs, videos, and records and more pieces of cannily composed viral content.

It’s a strategy that hasn’t failed Del Rey so far. So you missed her debut LP Born To Die earlier this year and somehow avoided the various music videos and collaborations that followed in its wake? Good luck trying to do that the second time around.

Born To Die, I’m sorry, Born To Die – The Paradise Edition, is a 24 song monster of a re-release, pairing the deluxe version of Del Rey’s debut album with the nine track Paradise EP. That’s a whole lotta Lana.

Not that any of this is going to convert any of the haters. The cuts that we’ve heard from the Paradise EP sound like vintage Del Rey. In fact, the dead-eyed goddess was generous enough to gift the internet viewing public with an atmospheric treatment for one of the songs featured on the Paradise EP, “Bel Air,” which you can see after the jump.

Playing frequent shows, selling merch and making quality music aren’t always enough to pay the bills these days. Often times, you may find yourself aching to create a new album, some new music videos, or invest in better equipment. But without the cash, what’s a struggling band to do?

Enter: crowdfunding. Most are familiar with the crowd-funding platform Kickstarter. However, Kickstarter isn’t your only option and in fact, not always your best.

Did you know that Kickstarter only accepts 60% of applications and only has a 44% success rate? Read on after the jump for our comparison of three of the top crowd funding sites: Kickstarter, IndieGoGo and Crowdtilt.
