Fast rising rock band Inhale The Fall have released the official video for their new single, “Weak.”

Introduced by a thumping bass line that will later guide you through the verses, “Weak” builds fast and then explodes in a flurry of female-lead alternative rock goodness that is accompanied by killer visuals. The video features a horror movie storyline mixed with brilliantly edited performance footage that perfectly showcases the lighter and darker sides of the band’s personality.

Ever-controversial rapper Kanye West has revealed the artwork, or lack thereof for his new album Yeezus. Yes, that is a play on Jesus. No, we’re not shocked.

With no audio or video officially released online and only weeks to go before the June 18 release date, Kanye West has confirmed the images found online early last week featuring an essentially blank cd inside an empty case with a piece of tape holding it shut is indeed the artwork for Yeezus. Def Jam has confirmed there is a message on the disc that reads “Please add Graffiti,” but no additional information, messaging, or liner notes seem to exist. After mixtapes, freestyles, and internet beefs aplenty, Angel Haze has finally premiered her debut lead single, “No Bueno.”

Becoming the latest female to officially throw her hat into the mainstream ring, Haze’s debut is one that will likely leave you in a daze. Hard-hitting and aggressive, the intoxicating beat is almost as dizzying as the delivery Haze offers. Her verses touch on everything from her launching her career, to (of course) being second-to-none in the rap game, and though it has pop elements it is undeniably a hip hop effort through and through. Just days after announcing plans to release a new album this Summer, Relient K have released a new song entitled “That’s My Jam.”

Partnering with Summer hitmaker Owl City, “That’s My Jam” harkens back to an earlier time in Relient K’s career. The introspective, somewhat folk sound of their last album has vanished and been replaced with radio-ready pop and studio magic. After weeks of teasing, Young Jeezy has made good on his promise to deliver a new mixtape before the end of May.

#ItsThaWorld is the first official release from Jeezy to surface in 2013. Though it is only presented as an EP, the song is bursting with energy, fun, and Jeezy’s signature aggression to the point it feels like a more complete release than the short track list may initially lead you to believe. You can find a stream and download link for #ItsThaWorld at the end of this post.

Having followed Young Jeezy for the majority of his career, it’s refreshing to see a seasoned emcee who still pushes himself in new directions. #ItsThaWorld isn’t exactly outside the norm for Jeezy, but it does offer a handful of fresh that, when paired with his general approach to the game, amazes like fireworks.
