Springfield, MO’s own Jackson Hunt is “just one man, trying to change the world with a piano.” Well, changing the world is no easy feat, but neither is making the main stage at Jazzfest Wellington 2012—a achievement that Hunt pulled off with grace. Landing the Number 1 spot in the “Saddle Up For Jazzfest” Competition on OurStage with his track “Moon Song”, Hunt was named the Grand Prize Winner of the competition, securing a set at this year’s festival in Wellington, FL. He’ll be jazzin’ it up on stage with acts the likes of Mindi Abair (who was recently featured on American Idol), David Pack and many more.
