“Make sure you’re comfortable with it…The label we ended up signing with were the people that we just really got along with and thought we could really be creative with…”
“One of the best parts about record labels coming out, is them coming out and taking you out to free dinners and free drinks…Take advantage of that!”
About The Satin Peaches:
This Detroit, Michigan indie-rock band is comprised of four college dropouts looking to brand their name into the indie music world. After recording a demo EP (“The Apple Overload”), the band was picked up by Oasis manager Marcus Russell and signed on with major record label Island. Hot off the release of their latest single “Well Well Well Well” the band is working on creating their first full-length album with a sound frequently being compared to The Kinks and Elliott Smith.
These young party animals have gone from valet parking attendants and college dropouts, to touring the world, playing shows, and recording a debut album. And all this in just 2 years. At just 19 years old each, they bring fresh style and unkempt attitude to the world of indie-rock music.
