My name is Jesse Potter, and I live with a burning passion for music. I pull musical aspects out of the many twists and turns of life, and share them as songs and stories. I grew up in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, a beautiful landscape, with a rich diversity of plant life and geology, and the highest tides in the world (hence all the references to the tides in my songs). I’ve lived in a small town near the ocean for the past four years, which has been a marvelous scenery to inspire songwriting. Having an insatiable passion for music, I love to write songs, improvise with other musicians, and teach theory. I especially love seeing what other musicians throw into one of my songs in a jam.
