YOUNG KONG Young Kong grew up loving music.  He listened to artist such as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Backstreet Boys, 2 Pac and Biggie.  At first it was DJ lessons at a center that was a bit of a hike from where he worked.  Once night at a friend’s house, his friend convinced him to work on a song and what developed was a single titled “Crank Dat Dy-Lan”.  Young Kong didn’t know that that recording would create a buzz in the local rap scene.  Everywhere he went, someone would say that they heard that track.  Young Kong’s next single “Wickity Whatafter” actually gave his first single a boost and received quite a calling on myspace.  His music was being played on DJ Lord Rave, DJ Iko and DJ King Assassin internet radio stations.  Young Kong is proud to announce the release of his third single “D Boy Dancing” which is off of a yet to be released CD titled “Kong Appreciation”.  This single tells his audience that he’s showing his true self and no one else.  You can hear the progression and improvement from his first single.  This song also significant to Young Kong because he put a lot of time and money into it.  It has a great beat, great rhymes, great use of electronics and is an overall great song.  “Kong Appreciation” is set for release sometime in 2012. Young Kong has worked with Flaco Da Great from FiyaHouse Productions.  He is also featured on KD aka Han D Man’s mixtape, “Im N Da Streets Not Industry Vol 2 and DJ Cannon Banyon Presents: The Indie Top 50 Vol. 62 “I would really like to thank all of my fans and the people who believe in me because if it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t have gotten this far”.
