She was raised primarily on a diet of Northern Soul, Disco and Motown by her parents in 1990s Darlington. Singing whenever and wherever she was able, sometimes even if she was not able, it wasn’t long before the striking red haired girl took up the piano and her musical journey was well underway. During her mid teens she began experimenting with songwriting and, on realising she had considerable talent, started writing, and writing, and writing.
